Elizabeth “Liz” Nguyen serves as an Instructional Technologist for the Office of Digital Learning. In this role, she provides support for students to embrace new ways of learning and for instructors to incorporate emerging technology in different teaching methods. Liz graduated from The University of Arizona with a BS in Microbiology and is finishing her MS in Agricultural Education.
Through her own educational experiences, Liz developed a passion for teaching and learning pedagogy that can improve students’ experience in academia. Prior to joining the ODL, Liz had the opportunity to work with UA Leadership Programs, Tucson Unified School District, Arizona Science Center, and Ventana Medical Systems.
Liz considers herself a lifelong learner and always enjoys asking questions and exploring new concepts. With this thirst for knowledge, in her spare time, Liz is constantly trying new things. Currently, she is learning about photography, hiking, and hand-lettering.
